Our Top 5 Bars For Fine Liquors & Cocktails In TriBeCa

TriBeCa is one of New York City’s swankiest neighborhoods, and one of our favorite nightlife destinations in the city. If you’re a big fan of high-end liquors and expertly-crafted cocktails, this part of the city has plenty of options. Some favorite fine liquor and cocktail bars from our staff of New York City personal injury lawyers include:

Brandy Library

If you’re a fan of high-end brown liquors, Brandy Library will be your own piece of personal heaven. Like the name suggests, this bar offers a book-sized menu of various brandies, whiskeys, Scotches, bourbons, and other assorted liquors. They’ve also got a wide selection of high-end cocktails if someone in your group isn’t a fan of straight liquor.

The place can be a bit intimidating at first, but the staff will gladly answer your questions and help you find a drink to suit your personal tastes. With an ambiance of dark colors and dim lighting, this is a great place to go for an intimate date, to celebrate a special occasion, or to meet with business clients. Of course, you don’t need a special excuse to come here, as a simple love for high-end liquors and cocktails will suffice.

Weather Up

Weather Up is a beautifully decorated cocktail bar, but without the pretension that you might expect to find at other cocktail bars in the area. The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting here, with prompt service and consistently well-crafted cocktails. If you’re hungry, they also offer a nice menu of bar food.

Some of our favorite cocktails at Weather Up include:

  • African Flower – Bourbon, Amaro Cio Ciaro, creme de cacao, and orange bitters
  • Espresso Martini – Vodka, cold brew, and cafe Lolita
  • Elizabeth Shue – Eldorado spiced rum, Amaro Averna, fresh pineapple and lime juice

Ward III

Ward III is a classy, intimate lounge and cocktail bar which also boasts a large menu of whiskeys and bourbons. They even offer tastings every Monday night between 7-10 pm, which is a great way to learn which types of these liquors suit your palate best. Whether you prefer an expertly mixed cocktail or simply to sip on a straight glass of whiskey or bourbon, Ward III is a great choice. Their food menu is also impressive, with some of our favorite bar fare in the area.

Some of our favorite dishes to pair with our drinks here include:

  • Deviled eggs
  • Fried buttermilk chicken tenders
  • Fig, gorgonzola, and prosciutto flatbread

The Django

If you like to enjoy some entertainment with your cocktails, the Django is one of your best bets in TriBeCa. This cocktail and live jazz bar is located on the lower level of the Roxy Hotel, and you can expect to be treated to shows from some truly talented musicians if you stop by here on a Friday night. There is a $20 cover charge, but this is well worth it for the quality of the entertainment.

The Bennett

The Bennett offers some of our favorite craft cocktails in the area, along with a food menu with a southern/Cajun theme. The decor of the bar also reflects this theme, with a southern jazz theme and features like hanging saxophone lights. They also serve brunch on Sundays, making the Bennett one of our go-to spots for either a nice daytime meal or an intimate night out.
